The system behind Wattcy consists of two parts: hardware and software.
Real-time consumption monitoring
See immediately how much electricity, water or gas a holiday home or chalet consumes. Gain insight into usage per hour, day and week. Reporting of historical and current consumption for both residents and operators.
Overload and fault detection
Warnings when a connection is at risk of overloading (for example too many devices running at the same time), helping prevent damage and ensuring the installation remains reliable.
Higher guest satisfaction
See the performance of your solar panels: yield and efficiency over time. Including battery systems if present. This shows when self-sufficiency is reached or when energy is fed back to the grid.
Smart control of heating
Whether heat pump, boiler or hybrid system: Wattcy can control heating based on time or reservation, depending on comfort needs and energy prices (or availability). For example: a “comfortable welcome” – pre-heating or cooling before arrival, without unnecessary costs.
Load balancing between homes and facilities
Especially in larger holiday parks: optimise power distribution across homes, charging stations and heating systems so limits are never exceeded and peak loads are reduced intelligently.
Comfort and guest experience
On arrival, indoor climate is comfortable, facilities work as expected, charging stations are available and sufficient power is provided.
Transparent cost allocation and reporting
Clear reporting per home, fair cost distribution and simple billing for tenants or residents.

In the Wattcy dashboard, everything can be managed easily. With just a few clicks, all electricity settings per pitch can be controlled.
Total consumption
An overview of the total consumption of your campsite or park.
Compare consumption
An overview of daily, monthly and yearly consumption compared to another period.
High consumers
See which pitches or guests are the highest consumers.
Disabled pitches
Pitches can be automatically 'switched off' due to overload.
Electricity consumption per pitch
An overview per pitch with current and historical electricity consumption.

Direct adjustments where needed

Through the dashboard, energy management can easily be adjusted by you or your staff. For example:
Set time slots
Prevent guests from charging electric vehicles at night.
Disable vacant pitches
Prevent electricity from being used on empty pitches.
Set alert thresholds
Receive an SMS or email when certain values are exceeded.
Adjust available capacity
Easily set how much electricity a pitch can use.

Set how long a pitch is switched off after excessive consumption.
